This is my story
To President Barack Obama
I do not totally agree with all the statements of OFA but, certainly, democracy its about doing something the people vote for and working everyone together with the elected president and his staff is the only way to prove him right or wrong.
I have been working for a Government Owned Utility (PREPA) as an Electrical Engineer for 23 years now and every year I feel more disappointed for the decisions made by the directors. Governments in charge have been going forward and backwards every time they trade places.
Now, I am serving 6 years now as pastor in an growing church in my community. My wife and I work together with the children of the church. I can say that is one of my passions and I can't wait anymore to go fulltime in this endeavour. I heard the story of Mrs Michelle Obama and I got inspired to do more for my people. I think the education of our children has to be more intense and intentional. It do not grow like grass in the ground, it has to be grown by hand. We have to prepare the earth cutting it, put in it fertilizer and the sow the right seed. And it need a lot of hands to be done, but take a lot of crazy enough people to believe it can be done. I believe so I am looking forward to join some braves to begin the work one block at a time, one school at a time, one town at a time, until we make it.
In our church Casa de Bendicion in Guaynabo, we already began with it opening an ACE (Advance Christian Education) System based school. In Amazing Christian School we are growing little kids with thinking strength and strong believes to equip them with the weapons they need to succeed. Our goal is to make a school of leaders to lead properly our nation. We believe it is possible, so God will do it possible, if we persist. That is my dream, to be able of work fulltime for the future of our nation working with our children.
