Good Morning Everyone!
Davis Martin here. Please read this email closely. It could save you a lot of money today and make you a lot of money going forward.
Tonight at 5pm I will be giving a webinar in the main room. I'll be touching on what took my trading from a 'gig' to a full time career and how I think this market can be played for profits in the coming months.
I highly recommend you attend!
Some significant changes in the stock market were given to us yesterday and SPY is at risk for breaking or bouncing off of its 50 day moving average any minute now. I have a playbook (which I've had now for months, waiting for this type of price action to happen) for this which I do not want you to miss.
Yesterday was a wild ride down, then dip bought, now futures are nice and red. I didn't alert any new swings and that was the right thing to do. Remember, in the words of Warren Buffett, the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient.
Some of us made some good money in Elite playing put options on SPY's gap down. Paper trading might be 'boring,' but it is one of those must do things before moving on to real money. Just part of being a good and responsible trader.
Anyone else read the article in Barron's about car loans yesterday? No secret that cars can be bought with bad credit and little to no money down. They're being repossessed left and right, then can't be sold for a profit as a used car by the dealer as cars lose a substantial chunk of their value the second they leave the lot. Sound similar to mortgages during the housing crisis?
What I'm watching for today:
NVDA for a short below $104.95.
SPXL and SPXS: SPXL is the 3x long on SPY ETF, and SPXS is the 3x short on SPY ETF. Alerts unlikely today as I absolutely need to see what SPY does with its 50 day moving average for more than just a minute or two.
Don't be afraid to sit on your hands today! TONS of educational material coming your way at 5pm EST tonight regarding how to trade a crazy market.
Davis
